🖊️ Feature

PDF Redaction

Permanently remove sensitive text, keywords, and phrases from PDF files. Not just a black box on top — DocInspector destroys the text layer, OCR layer, annotations, and metadata so nothing is recoverable.

⚠️

True redaction — not a black overlay

Many tools place a black rectangle over text but leave the original text in the PDF's data layer. DocInspector burns the redaction into the page, destroys the underlying text layer and all associated metadata. The removed content is unrecoverable.

Deep Redaction Engine

DocInspector's redaction goes beyond visual masking — it surgically removes content at every layer.

🔍

Keyword & Phrase Matching

Enter exact words, phrases, or patterns. All occurrences across all pages are found and permanently removed.

🧠

OCR Layer Destruction

Removes the invisible OCR/text layer from scanned documents so search tools cannot recover redacted terms.

📎

Annotation Removal

Strips comments, highlights, sticky notes, and form fields that may contain sensitive references.

🏷️

Metadata Sanitization

Removes author names, creation dates, document titles, and software fingerprints from file metadata.

📂

Batch Processing

Apply the same redaction rules to up to 100 PDFs simultaneously. Same keywords, same settings, all files at once.

🔗

Pipeline Combination

Combine redaction with encryption and watermarking in a single run — redact + encrypt + watermark all 100 files in one click.
